Please keep his family in your prayers.

    Travis Waid
On February 25 Travis Waid left the earth to be home with Jesus. For years he struggled to find peace but could no longer face the pain of depression. Today he is in the arms of the God he served so well.
Travis was an amazing person! He was oddly multi-gifted. He was a fantastic musician who played the guitar and sang with a voice that had beauty and power. He was forever funny. He truly spent his life going out of his way doing things to help other people. He was always the first to step forward to offer help to anyone who needed assistance. He did more than anyone ever truly realized to support Melissa in ministry, he was a true partner!
Travis was close to completing his Associates degree as a sUAS Field Technician at Atlantic Cape Community College which was a great source of pride for him. There was nothing Travis could not create, repair or build. His brain was magnificent in that he could always find a solution to a problem with ideas that were inevitably out of the box. He absolutely loved fishing, particularly with Fred and friends in Maine.
Travis never met a stranger and would be as comfortable with the rich and powerful as with the humble and meek; able to make both feel comfortable with him. He was a complete goofball, funny and irreverent, always food for a laugh. There will never again be another like Travis.
Travis loved God first, but loved Melissa, Abby, Gabrielle and Micah with devotion. Life always had its peaks and valleys, because life is not easy, but in the end, the love he had always shone through. He was a great friend and if you were a related or chosen part of his family, you were blessed with loyalty, devotion and love.
Travis would want to be remembered first for his love of God and his family, his music ministry and his ministry to others.
Travis was predeceased by his mom Donna Doyle. He is survived by his beloved wife Melissa, his precious children Abby (Will Costello), Gabrielle and Micah, his dad Frank Doyle, his brother Adam and sister-in-law Jennifer of Smyrna, TN, his parents Jeany and Sammy Waid of Bluff City, TN, his brother-in law Frank Doyle and Nicole, nieces Mackenzie and Grace, His sister-in-law Rachel Monastra, nephew Dante Romeo, niece Valentina Romeo, His brothers Lucas Crawford and John Grandizio, his best friends Bill Herovouis and Fred Setser. Melissa Schlect, Courtney Bottge and Chad Callahan his chosen children, as well as countless precious friends and chosen family that enriched his life and the life of his family.
The family thanks all who have been present as they come to terms with this unfathomable loss.
